Marquand, John P.: Right You Are, Mr. Moto
Jack Rhyce, a paratrooper in World War II, becomes a secret agent in the early years of the Cold War. He and Ruth Bogart are sent to Tokyo to foil an assassination attempt on a leading liberal politician. Murder and a Communist plot to stir up anti-American sentiment and a cover as do-gooders of the Asia Friendship League land them in more trouble than they can handle alone. Mr. Moto, a would-be tour guide offers to help them but Jack and Ruth suspect that there is more to Mr. Moto than meets the eye. The two spies have to learn the secrets of post-war Japan as quickly as possible if they are to avoid an international incident.
